It is situated on a road leading to Taormina but we found the hotel very quiet and certainly never encountered any intrusive road noise. The hotel is very friendly and the staff are without exception helpful and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here (we stayed for six nights). We had booked a junior suite and the room was a good size and comfortable, and it and the bathroom were well equipped. The hotel has free Wi-Fi with a user name and password supplied at check-in. The hotel was very good at answering queries by email prior to booking and they ensured a car was there to pick us up from the train station (we arrived by train from Siracusa) and also arranged a car to take us back to the airport. The air conditioning is excellent and the breakfast is exceptional and taken on their lovely roof top terrace overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. We enjoyed an early evening drink here most evenings but didn't dine at the hotel. They recommended and booked restaurants for us each evening to suit what we felt like and they were all good or better. We didn't use the pool facilities or the garden (apart from one lunch) so can't really comment on them in any detail. But this place has that 'something' which sets it apart from others. Nothing seems like too much trouble and the staff never seem rushed and always had time to answer questions or just have a conversation. This is a lovely, comfortable, easy hotel where the staff genuinely seem interested in you and get to know you; it is good value in this expensive part of Sicily. We recommend it unequivocally and will return when we revisit this quite beautiful part of the world." author="Barry_in_Bristol on TripAdvisor" pubdate="2013-08-05" user_review="5" min_review="1" max_review="5" ]
